Today, I received several e-mails with conflicting information. Two of them, anonymously, told me that Erick Salgado will not be speaking this Tuesday at 8pm with the other mayoral candidates.
Could you please write about COJO's refusal to allow Erick Salgado to speak at their mayoral forum?
Update: After this post, I received an e-mail attesting that Salgado was originally not invited to the mayoral forum.

It appears that the Flatbush Jewish Community Coalition has not invited Erick Salgado to participate in their mayoral forum this Tuesday (based on tweets of Jacob Kornbluh), The only pro-orthodox values candidate not allowed to be heard in this frum community event is just wrong. Please publicize it.. Shmuel Lefkowitz, Chazkel Bennet, Yecheskel Pikus- the questions begs WHY was Salgado not invited?

I am writing regarding your previous post condemning the Flatbush Jewish Community Coalition for not allowing mayoral candidate Erick Salgado to speak at their June 4th forum. Although I am a Republican candidate for City Council, I am also the Jewish Liaison for Salgado's campaign. I have firsthand inside information that Salgado was invited and he will be attending the mayoral forum this Tuesday.
Why is Unorthodox Leon Goldenberg's (who donated almost $5,000 to lesbian Christine Quinn) COJO telling Salgado supporters that Salgado will not be there? Because COJO does not want any of Salgado's supporters to show up at the forum.
If you are reading this, and you are supporting the only Pro-Jew candidate be sure to attend the event this Tuesday, June 4, 2013, 7pm at the Gil Hodges Public School, by Bedford Avenue and Avenue L.
The FJCC is also asking the public for questions. Here is a list of questions to ask:
Do you support homosexual marriages?
Do you support Michael Bloomberg's regulation on circumcision?
Do you support school vouchers?
Do you support the lawsuit against the small business owners in Williamsburg?
A special question to Christine Quinn only:
Why did you, Christine Quinn, defund Agudath Israel of promised hundreds of thousands of dollars after Shloime Dachs raised over $50,000 for you, and Agudath Israel board member Leon Goldenberg personally donated almost $5,000 to your campaign? Where is your hakaras hatov Quinn?
