Knock Knock! Who's There? God!
Failed Messiah started out somewhat skeptical about the kidnapping of Menachem Stark may he rest in peace. Yesterday, he wrote a perfect editorial on the hipocracy of the Chassidish community in Williamsburg.
In sharp contrast to the rabbis in Boro Park, who responded to a murder of a young kid by letting the whole world know at his funeral that Boro Park is being punished for their sins (then there were a few that decided to detail the sins of Boro Park), the rabbis in Williamsburg did the exact opposite.
The front page in the New York Post is despicable, but everything in the New York Post is a message from God. Death atones for a person's own sins. At the time of printing, Mr. Stark already paid his debt for whatever sins with his life. The additional embarrassment of Mr. Stark could not have been for any of his own sins. Therefore, the New York Post message is from God and for the entire Satmar community in Williamsburg.
This is not just Menachem Stark that lied, cheats and steals from the banks, tenants and contractors. It is the entire Williamsburg that has a follow the money attitude. They justify everything with charity -- except the charity from such people like Menachem Stark is the equivalent of accepting charity from prostitutes.
Other people died premature deaths in Williamsburg before. Why is this death different? Why is this death a message from God?
As with Leiby Kletzky, there was a community-wide search for Mr. Stark. But when Kletzky was murdered, it was a pure innocent child who has done nothing wrong. While we knew Kletzky died for all of our sins, it was heard to tell exactly which sin predominated the Boro Park community.

Unorthodox Satmar Chassidish Extortion Plot Failed!

A Brooklyn lawyer brought down an amateurish extortion plot last week, shining a light on a scam that pervades the Orthodox Jewish community, the Daily News has learned.
The saga involves a member of the Herzog clan — the largest kosher-wine makers in the world — who was routinely giving out checks to solicitors collecting donations for yeshivas or charities.
The checks would typically be deposited in the U.S. and the cash taken to Israel, records show. If an organization isn’t legit — or if other parties receive a cut of the money — the practice is illegal, according to a senior law enforcement source.
“It smells, it just smells,” he said.
When suspicions arose over shady spongers about a year ago, the Herzogs’ account was closed, sources said, resulting in inquiries from those left with bad checks.
The family then hired Elimelech Horowitz, a Satmar Hasid from Williamsburg, to settle those claims.
On May 3, Horowitz, 31, said he’d been kidnapped and then released by masked men who demanded $35,000. Then a stranger left an ominous voice message warning the Herzogs to pony up that amount or else.
“I know where you live, I know where you work, I know where your family lives,” a man said in the recording.
The shaken family contacted private investigator Joe Levin, who provided armed security and referred the Herzogs to George Farkas, who has represented several ultra-Orthodox Jews, including Nechemya Weberman, who was convicted of sex abuse last year.
Farkas said he immediately sensed the abduction story was a sham.
The first clue, he said, was that the message demanded some money before “Shabba,” mispronouncing the Jewish day of rest, even though the recipients of the Herzog money were Jewish.
The lawyer summoned Horowitz to his office — and after 20 minutes, Horowitz cracked, Farkas said. He said a blessing — and started to sing, Farkas recalled.
There was no kidnapping, the Hasid admitted. Horowitz pocketed the thousands he received to settle the claims. The Herzogs were never in danger.
“He hired some schmuck on the corner to make the threats,” Farkas said.
After Horowitz promised to pay everything back, the Herzogs opted not to press charges.
“We are saddened that we were victimized for no other reason than our charitable generosity,” the family said in statement.
The Herzogs may not be the only scam victims. A source described solicitors from Israel who hire drivers to approach wealthy Jews with sob stories. The driver and a yeshiva or charity that cashes the check get a cut, and the remaining dough is sent back to Israel.

Anarchy Chassidim in Williamsburg

A furious bus driver says two Hasidic scofflaws have moved a city no-parking sign, cementing it into the sidewalk in front of a Williamsburg yeshiva — and squeezing out an MTA bus stop.
“There was no way I could park at the bus stop,” fumed Jamar Perry, who spied the sign heist on Franklin Avenue while driving the B48.
“Two Jewish guys were moving the pole. I saw them resetting it. They had fresh cement and made it look professionally done.”
The relocated sign stands about 30 feet from the bus stop on Franklin just north of Flushing Avenue. It prevents cars from parking in front of Yeshiva Bnos Ahavas Israel so the religious school’s yellow buses can illegally park at the curb.
But what burns Perry, 39 and a four-year MTA employee, is the obstacle course it has created for his riders. Because of the parked yellow buses, city buses can’t pull into the stop and instead must idle in the middle of the street.
“When you’re in the middle of the street, bicyclists and motorcycles fly through there,” he said.
“You’re also unable to pick up a wheelchair at that stop because you can’t pull in. We’d have to nose in, and that’s against the law.”
Passengers are also fed up with the chosen parking.
“There’s a school bus that parks here every day,” said Mohsen, 26, an engineer who commutes to Bed-Stuy and would only give his first name. “To catch the bus, you have to go to the middle of the street and shake your hands. All the people are having the same problem.”
Perry suspects the sign stealers he saw in October had the chutzpah to grab the sign from around the corner on Flushing Avenue after a car knocked it down.
“I informed the union about it. I made a few complaints,” he said. “Nobody’s done anything.”
Tommy McNally, a safety officer from the Transit Workers Union, says sign-swapping “is a common problem in the Hasidic community.”
“These guys are just constantly moving these signs,” he said.

Disgraced Assemblyman Vito Lopez may have lost his party backing but he’s still a formidable candidate with an army of passionate supporters seeking to catapult his Council bid.
Lopez's backing in the Hasidic community and ties with Hispanic voters through his nonprofit political pundits predicting he has a good chance of winning the Council seat despite an ongoing criminal investigation into allegations he sexually harassed young staffers.
His nonprofit, Ridgewood Bushwick Senior Citizens Council, employs approximately 2,000 people.
The scandal-scarred state lawmaker has also remained a favorite of Satmar Grand Rebbe Zalman Leib Teitelbaum and Rabbi David Niederman, the executive director of the United Jewish Organizations in Williamsburg.
"They have not deserted him. The grand rebbe is his boy," a Lopez friend said.
As for his Jewish backing, the district, which includes Bushwick and parts of Williamsburg, does not have many Hasidim, a voting bloc the Assemblyman has long relied on. Lopez is likely to lean on them for campaign cash instead.

The Monster Meir Dascalowitz, a Pupa Chosid, that terribly molested a young boy at the Belz mikveh of Williamsburg, pleaded guilty according to a “plea bargain” that was practically forced on the parents of the victim, he got five years prison, 10 years of probation and he will become a registered sex offender.
As all know there were underhanded deals under the table, since the swine originally said that he was molested as a youngster by B. M. Lebovits and by a Pupa talmid chacham by the name of Menczer who writes the Viener rebbe’s sermons, something that they could not let come out at a trial.
The DA’s office handled/mishandled this case very unprofessionally, almost bordering on the criminal. The ADA handling the case had said that he has a video of Dascalowitz confessing, so powerful that any twelve people that will see it will convict him.him. So why did he give him a deal? Couldn’t he just have him convicted thru the video? The answer is, that the DA’s office is corrupt thru and thru. Every time that the parents of Dascalowitz’s victim were called to the DA’s office, they were told to come alone, with no lawyer, no advocate and no friend, so they can manipulate them to to benefit Dascalowitz.
Someone claiming to be an advocate, told the NY Daily New, that advocates were happy the way the case ended . . . I wonder if this person is an advocate for the molesters. Let him talk in his own name, not in OUR name.
I also want to reiterate, that “Flaumen” offered the victim’s father $100,000 and one session of therapy, which he claims that he refused. Why wasn’t he taken to task? Is it because he works for Pupa, the BAD GUYS and his name is not KELLNER?
