Guilty! Pedophile Meir Dascalowitz

Failed Messiah reports that Meir Dascalowitz  has pleaded guilty to sex crimes.  Dus Iz Nies provided details of the victim's life after the accusations came to light.  Dascalowitz molested the son of Mordechai Jungreis, a disabled boy according to the Daily News.

“You can destroy a person’s life with a false report,” said Rabbi Chaim Dovid Zwiebel, the executive vice president of Agudath Israel of America, a powerful ultra-Orthodox organization, which last year said that observant Jews should not report allegations to the police unless permitted to do so by a rabbi.

Rabbinic authorities “recommend you speak it over with a rabbi before coming to any definitive conclusion in your own mind,” Rabbi Zwiebel said.

 

 

Zwiebel needs to resign as rabbi, for providing a half truth.  He forgot to mention that Jewish law requires the victim to contact the police.  This is derived from the laws of Jewish court.

In a death penalty case, the witnesses are the executers.  Even though the court ruling is one of truth, and that the accused is deserving of death, there is always the possibility that the witnesses are lying.  To prevent righteous people from accidentally murdering anyone, Jewish law requires the witnesses to act as the executer. 

Therefore, if a victim of sexual abuse, unpaid wages, robbery, or any other major violation of Jewish law must go directly to the police/court.  A person who does not go to the police/court is responsible for the blood of his brothers.
